The second half of the Lent term has been an exciting and energetic period for hockey at More House. We kicked things off with our annual House Hockey Competition, where boys from across the school showcased the skills they’ve been developing throughout the term. It was fantastic to see such clear improvement, growing confidence and real team spirit on display.
Our fixtures against other schools were equally impressive. The boys showed real determination, playing with focus and enthusiasm right up to the final whistle. Their perseverance paid off, with several excellent late team goals that demonstrated both skill and teamwork.
For our older year groups, a series of 11‑a‑side matches provided a brilliant opportunity to test their abilities in a full‑pitch environment. These games offered valuable experience and highlighted just how far they’ve come this season.
Well done to all the players for their hard work, commitment and sportsmanship. We look forward to building on this momentum as we move into the Trinity term.
