MoreInclusive is the More House School, evidence-informed approach to inclusive teaching.
More House School (Frensham), the largest and leading specialist school in the country for pupils with special educational needs, is dedicated to improving access to its unique approach.
Grounded in our Beyond the Label model, it brings together a cognitive-led understanding of how pupils learn with practical approaches to whole-class inclusive teaching, supported by a range of training, tools and resources developed at our school.
Our Inclusion expertise, recognised by OFSTED as ‘Exceptional’ in April 2026, builds on over 30 years of experience and proven success. We work with over 270 schools throughout the UK, delivering CPD training, resources and tools, to develop effective inclusive practice and empower the class teacher.
We have partnered with the Psychology Department at the University of East Anglia and the University of Cambridge CALM project to produce the evidence-based MoreInclusive approach. Further research and development continues, including a PhD project focusing on the areas of impact achieved by the Class Mapping Tool.
Who is MoreInclusive relevant for?
- SENCOs
- Teachers
- Senior Leaders
- Primary and Secondary Levels
- State-maintained and Independent Schools.
MoreInclusive partnerships provide a structured way for other schools to engage with our approach, through a planned programme designed to support inclusion within their own setting. Anyone in the school may sign up, whether a SENCO, TA or LSA, teacher or senior leader.
Schools who join a MoreInclusive partnership become part of a wider professional community, sharing experiences and best practice. This creates opportunities to share experience, reflect on practice and develop confidence in supporting a broad range of needs across different settings.
Connect Partnership
Connect is the no-cost entry point to MoreInclusive, offering schools a way to begin exploring our approach at their own pace.
Through Connect, schools join our mailing list and take advantage of live access to our half-termly Spotlight Webinars, through links which may be shared freely with colleagues.
You will be kept up to date with opportunities to visit More House School through our Professionals’ Open Days and to engage more widely through Beyond the Label conferences, details of which will be provided via email and on our website.
Connect provides a starting point for reflection and awareness, with the option to move towards a more sustained partnership over time.
Orientation Partnership
Orientation supports schools to move from awareness to early implementation.
Schools explore the training, tools and resources in greater depth, and begin to trial aspects of MoreInclusive within their own context, often with a small group of colleagues.
Alongside this, they can engage with a wider community of those at a similar stage, asking questions, sharing insights and developing their understanding of effective practice during regular group surgery sessions.
This stage enables schools to establish a clear and context-specific starting point for improving inclusive practice across the school.
What to expect when selecting an Orientation Partnership:
You will be sent:
- Guidance and workbook for starting a MoreInclusive pilot
- An Orientation presentation to introduce and explain MoreInclusive to colleagues: In the form of PowerPoint slides and a recorded video
- Access to online training modules for five individuals, covering:
- Learning Beyond the Label
- Using the Class Mapping Tool
- The Class Mapping Tool: pdf and excel files

Implementation Partnership
Implementation is a bespoke support programme, guiding schools when moving from early exploration of MoreInclusive to more established practice, with structured guidance and support over one or two years.
At this stage, schools work more closely with the More House team, with support for key contacts alongside opportunities for staff to engage through INSET talks, workshops and online courses. Development is supported at different levels, including guidance for champion groups and senior leadership teams, helping to build consistency across the school.
There are also opportunities for observation and feedback from More House, enabling schools to reflect on their progress and respond to emerging priorities. Continued access to the Spotlight Webinar series and back-catalogue archive supports ongoing professional learning.
Implementation is designed to help schools embed MoreInclusive in a way that is coherent and manageable, building confidence and ensuring that inclusive practice becomes a consistent part of day-to-day teaching and learning.

Sustain Partnership
Some schools may not require an Orientation or Implementation Partnership due to the stage they are at with their inclusive training and practice.
However, schools who have recognised the benefits of working with More House may wish to maintain access to all training resources for their staff, including online course links. They can ensure this continuation through a Sustain partnership.
This includes an audit for a SENCO or Senior Leader to assess staff training needs and unlimited course enrolments for new staff joining at any point throughout the year.
As training resources are updated and further developed by MoreInclusive, Sustain Partnership schools will be the first to be granted automatic access and licence to use them.
