Adaptive Teaching Conference

Beyond the Label

Since 2024, More House School has co‑hosted a Spring Adaptive Teaching Conference with Charterhouse School, focusing on truly inclusive classroom practice. At these conferences, we hear insightful keynotes showcasing pioneering research in education and child development, and we explore the More House model of Beyond the Label adaptive teaching.

The March 2026 event was another triumph, welcoming around 100 education professionals from state‑maintained and independent schools across the UK. It remains a powerful CPD opportunity and a fantastic chance to network with likeminded colleagues, at an affordable price. Thank you to everyone who joined us!

A bit more about the Adaptive Teaching Conferences...

The annual Adaptive Teaching Conference aims to provide a low-cost opportunity for schools across a range of sectors to hear about current, powerful academic research and to explore how it can be applied in our practice.

These conferences are designed for Educational Professionals working with children and young people with SEND (special educational needs and disabilities) in the classroom, who are passionate about making learning successful for neurodiverse students.

These events are also fantastic opportunities for networking and getting to know others working with children and young people with SEND. With over 50 attendees at the first conference and around 100 at the 2025 and 2026 events, the learning environment facilitated countless discussions based on sharing best practice and exploring each other’s experiences in different contexts. Following each event, many professionals have opted to share their contact details, creating an evolving network of continued discussion and learning.
