More House School are celebrating World Book Day on Friday 6th March with age-appropriate activities and whole school involvement throughout the day, including a themed lunch in the refectory from our fabulous catering staff.
Dress Up:
All pupils in years 4 – 8 are invited to dress up for the day. There will be prizes for the best outfits showing effort and originality.
All staff are also invited to dress up this year and pupils will be able to nominate who they think is the ‘best dressed’ member of staff for a staff prize!
Design a Library Collection Poster:
Choose ONE of the following library collections – Pets Corner / Cooking / Hobbies / Football / Sport / Survival / Horrible Histories
Design an A3 LANDSCAPE POSTER to advertise your chosen collection.
You can design your poster in any way you like but it should include the name of the collection, in large, in the middle and be very bold and bright so that it stands out in the library.
Winning posters will go on permanent display in the library as the official signposting for that collection, along with an edible Easter treat.
All entries should be given to the librarians by Monday 23rd March.
Winners for the Dress Up and Poster competitions will be announced at the end of term service on Friday 27th March.
