In the Lent 2 half-term, 30 pupils from Years 8 & 9 played their part in being coached by the undergraduate students at St Mary’s University taking part in the Chelsea FC Football Foundation Coaching Programme.
Pupils were coached by 21 different coaches in a variety of individual, team skills and small-sided games. It proved a long afternoon; the boys adapted brilliantly and received many positive comments on their stamina, skills and conduct. The Lead Coach commented on how well-behaved the boys were and that they were a pleasure to teach. St Mary’s have already asked about us attending again next year.
