On Friday 11th October, Year 9 Design…Engineer…Construct! (DEC) students showed off their innovative design skills.
Working in groups, they were asked to design environmental classrooms of the future. Each were assigned specific job roles and had to work together to produce presentations of their ideas.
We were lucky enough to be joined for the day by members from Class of Your Own and Hoare Lea, an architectural engineering firm that the school will be partnering with. Both were impressed by the boys’ teamwork, knowledge and creative problem-solving. It was so hard to pick a winner, but the team ‘Better Life’ took the top prize with their smooth presentation and attention to detail!
