The eagerly-awaited annual Boarding Talent Show was back in March, to much excitement!
We had lots of great entries this year, with a wide range of different acts, ranging from musical performances to comedy sketches, magic and poetry. Everyone did brilliantly, performing to a full audience of family and friends. Backstage and technical support was provided by a very competent group of Year 7 and 8 boarders, and thanks go as ever to Mr Dupres, who kindly organised the sound and lighting.
The Senior cup was won this year by Year 10 boarders Hughie and Christian, who wrote and performed their own comedy sketch that had the audience in stitches!
The Junior cup was so closely contested that the judges couldn’t decide between the top two acts, so we had a joint first place this year, with Wilbur and Ted, both in Year 6, sharing the prize. Highly Commended went to Jamie in UVI, with his excellent rock bagpipes performance.
Well done to all who performed, and thank you to everyone who came and supported the boys. A fantastic evening!
