A whizzpoppery wonderland of Literacy Skills

Welcome to LDC Literacy on the first Flexi Friday of the year where scrumdiddlyumptious ideas bubbled and bounced, and fizzwhizzing treats are dreamed into life! This was no ordinary emporium—it was a whizzpoppery wonderland of sugary invention, where snozzberries sparkle, choco-whifflers swirled, and every sweet was a munchable masterpiece.

Three students and a teacher sit around a classroom table covered with papers, glue sticks, and craft supplies. Their smiles reflect the joy of creative learning in a space focused on dyslexia and literacy support.

The juniors journeyed through one magical room to another, immersed inside LDC’s own (Roald Dahl-inspired) Magic Chocolate Factory, crafting and designing their own fantastical sweets! 😁🍭🍬🍫👏

Using heaps of scrumdiddlyumptious adjectives, they described their creations with wild imagination—dreaming up slogans, descriptions, and even the special powers their sweets might have! Their senses were tingling as they chose vocabulary to capture the wonder of Willy Wonka’s notorious chocolates and treats. It was a delight to see so many smiles and the wearing of Willy Wonka attire.
