Until last night [my son], had NEVER off his own back sat at his desk and written anything. Work that had come home from school was illegible and if he did write anything that we could read it would be because he copied it from an adult. Last night he presented my husband and I with this note. Yes, it is not perfect, but I can read it and he did it out of the blue, for no reason than he wanted to.
