… Beyond the awards and accolades, one of the things I’m most proud of is that I’ve been recognised for both the films and scripts/lyrics I’ve written. As someone with dyslexia, this is deeply meaningful. Dyslexia can be a hurdle, yes—but it’s not a stop sign. It doesn’t mean you can’t write. It doesn’t mean you can’t create. If anything, it gives you a different lens, and I believe that’s a strength.
More House was where the foundation of all of this began. It gave me the confidence to believe in myself—not in spite of my challenges, but because of them. I’ve also been lucky to form lifelong friendships during my time there, and I’m proud to say I’ve kept in close contact with many fellow alumni over the years.
I’m incredibly proud to be part of the More House alumni community, and grateful for the role the school has played in shaping who I am today. I feel the lessons I learned at More House will continue to help me grow on my journey that’s only just beginning.
