October welcomes in a plethora of neurodiversity ‘awareness days’.
There’s ‘Dyslexia Awareness Week’ and ‘Dyspraxia Awareness Week’ this week between 6th to 12th October. ‘Developmental Language Disorder Awareness Day’ is on 17th October and ‘ADHD Awareness’ are claiming the whole month of October!
To support, and in line with our ‘Beyond The Label’ ethos, our neurodiversity library display showcases pupils’ suggestions of all the ways they can be helped in the classroom, regardless of diagnosis.
