Armistice Commemoration

Our whole-school community came together for our Armistice Commemoration on the morning of the 11th November. As the school flag hung at half-mast, the school officers addressed all pupils and this was observed exceptionally by all. It was a particularly proud day for many of our pupils who were able to wear their service uniforms to show their respects.

The Last Post and Reveille were beautifully delivered by Year 10 pupil, Christian.

It is an honour to come together in such a way in order to remember those who have fallen in service to our nation. We share a close connection with many of the services through our pupils, parents and colleagues, and feel a deep connection with the day of Remembrance, as well as other opportunities to highlight the incredible respect held by all within the community.

Lest We Forget.
