Nepal 2019
Our 2019 World Challenge group travelled to Nepal in July, where they spent a month in the country, initially involved in a construction project helping a school in Kathmandu, before trekking to the base-camp of Annapurna! They returned on the 30th July 2019, having experienced torrential rain that caused flooding and land-slips, and having survived an earthquake. They experienced the rich culture of the Nepalese and the Himalayas, and were wowed by staggeringly beautiful scenery. They worked as a team to overcome the physical demands of trekking in such a demanding environment, and developed their independence skills, empowering them to take control of their futures.
Congratulations to the July 2019 World Challenge team!
