Conference Speaking and national SEND Training
The School currently delivers national SEND training for the Independent Schools Association (ISA), including the ISA's training for SENDCos and is also heavily involved in both the design and delivery of the National SEND Conference for the Independent schools’ sector, in association with the Independent Schools Council (ISC).
Words and their meanings provide an essential scaffold for understanding and expression in every subject. Yet teachers often assume that SEND pupils grasp these meanings when there are many holes in the wall, due to their slower development of vocabulary skills.
