School Closures - Government Announcement
Covid-19: With the national closure of schools, More House School is closed for an indefinite period, with exception for children who qualify as vulnerable or whose parents' jobs are critical to the national response to the Covid-19 situation.
All updates regarding More House School can be found here.
Following the announcement in the House of Commons on the evening of Wednesday 18th March by the Secretary of State for Education, parents received a detailed letter from the Headmaster on Thursday morning, 19th March, and a further letter on Friday, 20th March. Those letters may be viewed using the links below. A further letter was sent to parents on Friday morning, 27th March.
The school remains open to vulnerable children and those of critical-workers throughout the normal Easter holiday period, in line with the government's requests of all schools. Parents who have contacted the school applying for such eligibility have received separate details of this special provision and the registration process.
During the period of national schools closures, our curriculum and pastoral support is being delivered remotely. The Remote Learning link below, and the Contingency Planning menu tab at the top of your screen, provide access to this online provision.
The school's Safeguarding and Child Protection policy has also been updated to reflect the new situation, and can be accessed from our Policies page by following the Information tab at the top of the screen.
