This year’s theme for Dyslexia Awareness Week was ‘My Dyslexia Journey’.

Literacy Tutors discussed individual learning journeys with their students. Using a roadmap template, students identified notable moments in their personal journeys. Many could identify barriers which they had previously faced, and many identified joining More House School as a transformative moment on their journey. Poignantly, some chose to predict and map their onward journey, now having greater belief in what they can achieve.

The road maps have been displayed in the Library, demonstrating both the breadth of neurodiversity in our school and the many twists and turns along the journey.
