One Flexi Friday this half-term, Mr O'Brien and the Junior pupils took on the mighty Egg Drop Challenge!
 

The boys worked in teams, using the knowledge they have learnt in Technology lessons and some material science content on the day, to work from a design brief and produce a mini model. They then used all manner of materials from black bags and tissue paper, to cardboard boxes and paper straws to plan and produce their egg-protection devices.

The next step was to drop their creations out of the first floor window onto the patio below. The boys watched with bated breath as each hit the ground, then rushed to investigate the welfare of their eggs! Some remained unscathed whilst others were somewhat compromised...
