Sports Day 2024
A day to remember
Sports Day 2024 was a huge success, with a carnival atmosphere that brought together pupils from Year 4 to Year 10, their parents, and even family dogs. The day was filled with music, fun, and impressive sporting achievements.
The students demonstrated remarkable determination and dedication across a range of events, from the 800m race to the high jump and javelin. It was a day of celebration, with an impressive eight new school records set, seven of which were on the running track.
The addition of year group zones allowed parents to easily connect with each other, enjoying picnics and catch-ups whilst watching the boys showcase their sporting progress. The introduction of sibling races also brought an extra element of excitement to the occasion, with sweet prizes awaiting the participants at the finish line. The smooth commentary and entertaining jokes from Mr Faasen added to the festive atmosphere of the day.
The overall victors of Sports Day were Knight House, but the real winners were all the students who participated and showcased their talents. The Sports Department is immensely proud of each and every pupil for both their performances and achievements throughout the day. It was a true team effort, with everyone involved contributing to the success of the event.
Thank you to all who made Sports Day 2024 such a memorable and enjoyable occasion.
