It's Black History Month and the theme is 'Celebrating Our Sisters, Saluting Our Sisters, and Honouring Matriarchs of Movements'. 

To support this, our Book of the Month for October is 'Unheard Voices' by Malorie Blackman, a collection of short stories and poems that sit alongside first-hand accounts of slavery from freed slaves, making a fascinating and absorbing collection.
